Uninstalled the plugin but black mode remains

    Hi

    I installed and activate the plugin briefly but had misunderstood what it was for, so without configuring it, I deactivated and uninstalled it. However, my pages have remained in black mode. When I reinstall it they go back to normal and can be toggled between black and normal. I do not have a use for the blackmode at all though so need to uninstall it and get it back to normal. Any tips?

    It must be a cache thing, check your server cache or maybe a cache plugin and purge it all.

    Hi

    Unfortunately it still persists but in a worse way. Now that I installed the latest version, the woocommerce shop has gone “darker” and none of the descriptions are readable anymore. This is a bit more serious than what it was before because basically our customers can no longer read the products on our site.

    I have no idea what to do and how to fix this and revert back to how it was before.

    The plugin doesn’t change any actual colors to black, so my guess is that your issue is somewhere else.

    Also, once you uninstall it there’s no way for the plugin to keep working as it removes the script that enables it. Maybe try clearing the cache of your website so the changes take place in the front-end too.

    For followers – this was resolved and turned out NOT to be an issue caused by this plugin.
