    Hi @simon-pointer ,

Thank you for catching this! We’ve removed this section from our documentation.

We’ve had several people (including WPJM developers), reach out to Astoundify in the past to clarify the status of the Contact Listing plugin, with no reply.

I’ve created a project for myself to try and duplicate the same effect without using Contact Listings, so if that works out, we’ll add that new process to the page.

    Thanks again!

    Hi Cena. Thans for that.

Looks like I had more luck than you – I got the following reply from Astountify support about this….

Thanks for reaching out to us.

In relation to your question here we are yet to encounter any issues with the plugin whether bugs or security loopholes which is why we have not updated the plugin for a while. However, we are still supporting the plugin and will be updating it in the future.

I hope this information helps. Should you have any questions, please let us know.
    Kind Regards

I get what they are saying but it’s pretty hard to trust a plugin that out of date even if it does work ok.

Well, fair enough, I suppose, but I’m more in agreement with the idea that a plugin which hasn’t been updated in 3 years is far more likely to be insecure/dangerous for your site! ??

Good info to know though – we’ll keep an eye out for updates!

    Best,
    Cena
