Exclude category from forntpage list!

    Hello,

    I really need to exclude one specific category from my frontpage. I know how to ‘not’ show a post of that category, but I need the category out of my list on the frontpage!

    Is this possible without having to change a lot of code? Is there a plugin to do this?

    Story behind the question:
    I’m using the Gigs calendar plugin. But the gigs that I’m posting need to have a category. Since I have them on a special page, I don’t want them to be a category on the forntpage also.
