    Hi there,
Iam setting up a website for video streaming, like a mini youtube.
I tried the wp vimeo plugin free and it’s cool but i need users to upload their videos through my wordpress site to vimeo. Would it be possible with wp vimeo pro plugin?
I mean: I see that in pro there is a frontend button to upload files but I need users that register to my site to be able to upload their video. IS this funcionality already included in the pro version of the plugin?
    thanks

    Hi @nikemede ,

The front-end upload is through GravityForms in the pro version. You must also have GravityForms to use that functionality. The registration and login functionality is not included in the plugin, you will probably need to combine it with some membership plugin.

    thanks for the quick response.
No problem in getting gravity forms pro too.
Ok, for registration and membership I can work it out, but: did I get it right that in your pro plugin anybody can upload videos through frontend?
In that case what if I simply hide the upload button for unregistered users and create an hidden registered memebers only page where they can visualize the page with the upload button?

Also I wonder if once the videos are uploaded to vimeo can your plugin itself get back the emebedded videos and show them in wordpress video gallery or in some vlog or vpro video theme or do I need another mass embed link collector plugin to do that?
    thanks

    – Yes this will work. You will need to embed the gravity form in protected page from public.

    – The Videos uploaded through the plugin are stored in Media > Vimeo currently there is no option to display them all in the front-end but it will be possible in the next versions. This is also doable with some custom PHP and WordPress loop. Contact me if you still need at [email protected]
