Credentials available in database every mainwp client

    Hi,

    This morning I was shocked…

    I use Updraftplus with the Mainwp management panel. I noticed that in all my Mainwp conenected WordPress sites the login details of the backup sftp server and a complete list of all my clients backup history are stored in every clients database. So every client with database access can easily obtain all backups.

    I very muuch don’t think I want this!

    Have I missed a setting in the mainwp extension like “I don’t want to expose credentials to the client sites”? I can hide the plugin but that does not solve my problem.

    Hi Christophe,

    The MainWP extension is created by, and entirely under the control of, the MainWP developers, only. We didn’t have any input into it and don’t even have a copy.

    Thus, in order to address any issues with the MainWP extension, you’ll need to talk to MainWP support.
