Can’t see slide background to transparent

I’ve built a number of sliders but I’m struggling to set a transparent background?

Having looked at the background colour settings, I’ve set everything to transparent but it’s still showing with a white background on my website.

What I want is for my website background to be show behind the white text of the slider.

Any help greatly appreciated!
