    Hi,

By using the WordPress Sitediagnose tool I discovered that Yoast/Ryte report a 403 for the homepage of my site.
I cheked and can confirm that Google can run the mobile-friendly test for myr domain, Google can also crawl the domain. In that case, the Ryte warning is wrong.

Why are Yoast/Ryte reporting an erroneous 403??

    Regards

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@toon-gerritsen The 403 is not erroneous, I received a 403 both in a browser (see image here), and when I checked the URL in Curl:

    curl -I https://www.taalpuntendebilt.nl
    HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden
    Date: Wed, 10 Jun 2020 22:24:50 GMT
    Server: Apache
    Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate
    Cache-Control: post-check=0, pre-check=0
    Pragma: no-cache
    Expires: Sat, 26 Jul 2012 05:00:00 GMT
    Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8
    X-TransIP-Backend: web714
    X-TransIP-Balancer: balancer3

As for the reason the site is returning a 403, it’s best to check with your host to answer that as the error log will contain a more specific reason. Typical reasons for this can be related to your security plugin settings or in your .htaccess file, or permissions on either files or directories.

My mistake: I recently installed the plugin iQ Block Country. That explains the message when a Ryte server is not in an allowed country.

    Sorry for this message.
