  • Hi @andrewamtana,

Yahoo has a super forceful policy on filtering emails. Please make sure you’ve proper DMARC records setup. The emails that are sent from Yahoo email address but not from the Yahoo server can be bounced with this policy. Apart from this, your domain reputation, email quality, sender’s authentication, etc. also counts. Could you please let me know the mailer, SMTP settings you’re using?

    Thanks!

hello my domain reputation is clean
    Email Quality good
    Sender’s Authentication good
    DMARC records good

on general settings i use PHP, when i use the other options it does not send emails at all. PHP works well.
all other emails send to gmail, company email, and others are okay.

but all emails being send to YAHOO ONLY goes to spam

    @andrewamtana,

    Allow me to assist.

Yahoo is blocking and/or filtering all Yahoo email addresses processed via WordPress (WP) or plugins that reside in WP’s repository.

This is a well-known issue. WP has tried to address this constraint numerous times with Yahoo to no avail.

In short, your issue is caused by Yahoo, not WP nor any WP plugin.

This forum post explains it all. Excellent write-up. There are many other similar write-ups out there.

Recommend switching to another email client. A much faster, easier solution.

    Cheers!

Hi @andrewamtana – If you’re using default PHP mailer, you’ve not configured SMTP at all. This is the default option and WordPress sends emails with this option even when WP Mail SMTP is not activated. Please choose any of the available mailers and get started.

@jetxpert – Thanks for the information. Yeah, Yahoo has a super strict policy in filtering emails.

    I hope this helps!

Hi @andrewamtana – We haven’t heard from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and mark this ticket resolved. If you still have questions, though, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.
