• Hi!

I reloaded a backup and now everything is update on my website. But from my security plugin I received this message:

    High Severity Problems:

    * Unknown file in WordPress core: wp-admin/wp-megamenu-nav-639.txt

I deleted this file and I installed and switch on Megamenu plugin, but I didn’t find this file again (Maybe I used the plugin before the backup, I dunno).

Could you have ever created such a file in the past with the Megamenu plugin or most certainly a virus?

    Thank You!

If I configure a new megamenu theme with your plugin (https://docs.themeum.com/wp-megamenu/creating-and-configuring-a-mega-menu-theme/), it won’t create the txt file too, so I’m afraid of it’s a virus… It is true that this is a txt and not a php file.

I also got one, reported by Wordfence. The file is wp-admin/wp-megamenu-nav-41.txt

The file is extremely long. The first three rows of it is:

    YTo2OntzOjg6InNpdGVfdXJsIjtzOjI2OiJodHRwczovL3huLS1xdWN1LWhyNWF6YS5jYyI7czo0OiJ0ZXJtIjtPOjc6IldQX1Rlcm0iOjEwOntzOjc6InRlcm1faWQiO2k6NDE7czo0OiJuYW1lIjtzOjk6Ik1haW4gbWVudSI7czo0OiJzbHVnIjtzOjk6Im1haW4tb

    Hello @ooker @anand15

We didn’t create such a file in wp-admin folder for any reason. It may be created automatically by when you migrate the site. This is not a Megamenu core file and not a functional file. You can remove this file anyway.
