Yoast SEO AMP Plugin

    WordPress is giving me this somewhat self-contradicting message:
    “The Yoast SEO AMP plugin is no longer needed. Through good collaboration with Google the functionality of this plugin is now part of both Yoast SEO and the official AMP plugin. If you still have this plugin running we’d suggest updating both the Yoast SEO and AMP plugins and removing the glue plugin.”

    It’s clear that I should remove the Glue plugin. But is the AMP plugin is no longer needed, why am I instructed to update it?

    Sorry that’s not so clear. You only need to update and keep Yoast SEO and the official AMP plugin. These latest versions are the ones that do not require the Yoast Glue plugin.

    Once you’ve confirmed that, you’re free to delete the Yoast Glue plugin.

    BTW, for some reason after I posted this question, I’m now receiving many emails with replies from you to other questions. How can I set myself to only receive replies to posts I’ve participated in?

    We’re not sure if that’s a setting here on the WordPress forums. Perhaps you could also be subscribed to other forum topics where Priscilla has responded to?

    I just checked and I’m subscribed only to about five topics, most of which are about three years old. So far I’ve received >300 emails from the forum and they’re still coming.
