slider read more not working in Edge or Chrome

  • The Read More link on my slider works fine from mobile devices (android and iphone) plus Safari, but when I am using Microsoft edge as my browser, left clicking on Read More does not work. The visual display, where the Read More box changes to Blue, functions correctly and the https:// url displays in the bottom left, however left mouse click does not go to the page specified. If I right click on the mouse, and select either open in new window or open in new tab, this works fine. The same problems occurs in some, but not all installations of Chrome browser.
