HOMEPAGE is the 404 page!

    Persistent 404 page IS THE HOME PAGE! I need to fix, but
    “404 to Homepage” will not work? Had professional migration done by host, new server. Website previously a subdomain. This is the only page causing issues, but IT IS THE PAGE visitors see first.

    Hi @liz99ibis,

    Are you sure that the page exists? The plugin will only trigger a redirect if WordPress is finding a 404. This means the page either does not exist, or is incorrectly returning a 404 status.

    Apologies if I have misunderstood. I am not 100% sure I follow what you are asking. If you can provide any more information I’ll see if I can help.

    All is well! Thanks for reply. I had NOT installed the plugin prior to posting my concern/question. Backed up the site newly transferred to new host/server and installed your plugin. FIXED! No more 404 issues with that page. Will post a thumbs-up review.
