Sidebar show catagories with total number of comments??

  • It’s not really clear that those are categories, but rather posts showing the number of comments.

    But if you were to do that it would see you would need to:
    1. use get_categories to cycle through the categories
    2. use get_posts to get all posts in a given category
    3. cycle through each post and accumulate the count of comments
