Hi,
We had a look at your tour page.
We’ve recognized the issue with Youtube 360-degree position.
Our developers are now looking into it and hopefully, we’ll release a fix for it on our next update.
About the issue on Android, we’ll have to run tests on Android to identify the issue and find out a proper solution.
We’ll let you know once we find the details on the android issue.
Hope you understand.
Thank you for your patients.
It has been that way for months, I was hoping updates would solve it but after so many updates, it still has the issue.
No one reported a bug so we checked today there are some style conflicts with embedded youtube. we will debug that with different themes and solve with an update. Tour issue on android is working on other sites. So we will check what themes and plugins you are using or any JS conflict there. So it is going to take some time.
I deactivated every other plugin one by one, it didn’t solve the issue.
It works well on PC and iPhone but not and android. It shows and screen with a patterned image. If I click the hotspot on the patterned image it shows
“The panorama is too big for your device! It’s 2400px wide, but your device only supports images of up to 0px wide. Try another device. (If you are the author try scaling down the image.)I checked it on other android device, the same issue
Hi @okolieuchechukwu ,
We’re really sorry that you have to face this issue.
Thank you for letting us know about it.
We’ll try our best to find out the issue on android and fix it as soon as possible.
Since we just got informed about it from you, it may take some time to properly fix.
We request you to have some patients and give us some time to work on it.
Hope you understand.
Thanks.
Okay noted.
The last update, didn’t solve the issue though. The same thing happens when I use google chrome on my windows PC. it works well on firefox. One of the virtual tours is blank.
The problem still persists on android. I have tested it using google chrome and Microsoft edge. A lot of the tours are blank filled with a patterned image and the embedded 360 videos from youtube are spaced out.
Hopefully, it gets solved soon, I want to start creating websites as a business. I can’t if mine is not functioning properly. The tour is the main feature’
Cheers
Hi @okolieuchechukwu ,
We had a look at your tour page.
Since you’ve published a lot of tours on a single page, there is a possibility that Autoptimize is blocking the tours from appearing.
Loading a lot of tours is also slowing down your page loading speed and this could be a reason why Autoptimize is restricting some of the tours from appearing.
We can suggest you two possible solutions to solve this:
You can follow this documentation to exclude WPVR from Autoptimize optimization: https://rextheme.com/docs/wp-vr/script-and-style-loading-control/
Or you can try to create a virtual tour with multiple scenes and publish it on a test page. If it works and the tour is appearing perfectly, you can try to reduce the number of tours on your current tour page and see if it works.
About the Youtube video issue, we have prepared a solution for it and testing it on our development platform.
If it works properly, hopefully, we’ll release the fix on one of our upcoming updates.
Thanks.
WPVR has always been excluded from Autoptimize. I did that when the website was created. I also tried to troubleshoot bt deactivating Autoptimize and it didn’t solve the problem.
I guess, it went off when I deactivated to troubleshoot, I implemented what was detailed here, https://rextheme.com/docs/wp-vr/script-and-style-loading-control/
The issue still persists. Patterned image shows up when using chrome on windows and on android.
I would note that it works well on pages with few tours

The page currently has 29 tours
The number was reduced to 17 tours by removing the tours with the youtube link and the issue wasn’t solved.
When the tours were reduced to 16, tours with hotspot. They all appeared on windows but not on android.
When the tours are reduced to 8, it works fine on android.
Please let me know when it will be possible to have more than 8 tours on a page.
Thanks
Hi @okolieuchechukwu ,
We analyzed the page when you had 29 tours on it.
Here you can see the error log:
https://workdrive.zoho.com/file/kn4i2819aa92a59d44876954d93efff14558c
It seems that Autoptimize is blocking the tours from appearing when you’re publishing a lot of tours on the same page.
For now, you can reduce the number of tours on a single page so no tours get blocked.
You can also publish 8 tours with multiple scenes on each tour.
This way, you’ll be able to publish all the scenes on a single page.
Meanwhile, we’ll be trying to find a way if we can solve this issue.
Please let us know if you face any more issues with the plugin.
Thanks.
Hi @okolieuchechukwu ,
Can you please give us the details or a link to the page where you’ve embedded a 360-degree virtual tour with WPVR?
We’ll have a look.
Thanks.
Hi @okolieuchechukwu ,
We had a look at your pages and found the 360-degree videos like these:
Can you please tell us any specific details of the issue?
If it’s about the tour height and width, you can easily fix it by following this documentation: https://rextheme.com/docs/wp-vr-embed-a-virtual-tour/
Thanks.
