Good morning, I was looking for a plugin to lazy load external images, in my case from //m.media-amazon.com.

I was recommended this plugin.

While testing the PageSpeedInsights I noticed this:

If I activate the lazy load and the CDN it gives me a lower result, but I DON’T get the warning to lazy load the images anymore. (PageSpeedInsights)

If I activate the lazy load and deactivate the CDN it gives me a better result, but I am more warned to lazy load the images. (PageSpeedInsights)

For now tango deactivated the CDN, but on PageSpeedInsights tells me to activate the lazy load for images from //m.media-amazon.com.

Thanks, if you give me a solution I would be very happy.

@alesh84 I tried analyzing and couldn’t find the error/warning that says “Defer offscreen images” https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fintegratorimigliori.com%2Fantidolorifico-naturale%2F&tab=mobile

Because I had cdn enabled, now I took it out, and if you check the is lazy loading problem now on PageSpeedInsights.

Hi @alesh84,

You cannot hotlink images from m.media-amazon.com because this violates Statically’s TOS. I recommend you to CDNize images from sites that you have control of.

Therefore if you load images from m.media-amazon.com with Statically, it will only redirect cdn.statically.io to m.media-amazon.com, maybe this is related to PageSpeed Insight.

You can exclude m.media-amazon.com in the plugin settings.
