    Hi @forusak

thanks for letting us know and sorry for causing trouble. I’ve tried to reproduce this in Safari 13.1.1 on a Mac and couldn’t reproduce it. Which Safari version are you using? Is that on a Mac?

Where exactly does it appear the logo? On your actual site? In the WP-Admin? Or only when opening the Matomo reporting page (there it would be expected)?

Or maybe it only happens when you pin a tab? I think then I can reproduce it.

    Hi @tsteur
It appears everywhere, the site is tlapky.sk
    Mac, Safari Version 13.1 (15609.1.20.111.8)

@forusak thanks for this. Any chance you have the tab pinned? If so, could you unpin it again and see if it shows correctly?

I just went to your site but of course because I don’t have access to your reporting it shows the correct favicon.

No it is not pinned, when I close the tab there is nothing left.

I just tried another site. As I entered your reporting dashboard, favicon has changed and didn’t revert back after returning to wp admin.

Thanks @forusak . Any chance you could send us a screenshot of what it looks like? This would help me figure out better understand which logo it is showing there.

You could send it to us for example to [email protected]

Thanks for sending the screenshot @forusak

I can reproduce this now when enabling the setting “Preferences > Tabs > Show Website Icons in Tabs” in Safari.

We will no longer add this pinned icon from the next release. We’ve fixed this in https://github.com/matomo-org/wp-matomo/pull/309/files

There’s a possibility it will still be shown after you update in which case it will help to clear the cache in safari.

Thank you @tsteur now it is working correctly ??
