Exporting WXR with Chinese text

  • On my website I have a lot of Chinese text and now I want to transfer that website to another server. I want to export all the content using the WXR Export tool. Though surprisingly enough I can’t seem to get my Chinese text exported properly using this method. All I get instead of Chinese text is a bunch of rubbish text.

    Is there any way to using this export, but to still be able to import it back again with normally showing Chinese text?
