Password reset

Hi everybody,
after many years working with wordpress on my website, last week something occurred and now I can’t login. Once entered the credentials… nothing happens: I’ve tried from different PC with different browsers.
So, I’ve clicked on Password forgot to reset it. But clicking on the link sent automatically by wordpress to restore the password the following message is shown: “the link to reset password seems not to be valid”….
Any help please?

@albus68 Just now I has change the password of WordPress website [link removed] easily. I share my experience with you. Firstly you forget the password then you put email id which you has registered. You get the mail from WordPress for the reset the password. Click the link which you get in the mail. The the page will be open and put the new password. then save it. then you again login the WordPress page with the new Password.
