    Hi Support,

Getting the following error suddendly appear on all backups scheduled or manual.

Also, getting a WP Mail SMTP error that might be related:

There was a problem while retrieving Auth for gmail: Could not json decode the token

I have reached out to all plugin parties and nobody can give an answer as to resolve this error.

    Hoping someone can help!

    Cheers

    Hi,

Please could you send us a copy of the latest full backup log?

This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Hi Bryle,

I placed the log file on my google drive, here is the link:

    Hi Mark,

Thank you for sending the log.

Could you try to reduce the backup archive split size? This will split the backup into smaller, more manageable files.

To do this, open the ‘expert settings’ section of the UpdraftPlus Settings tab, and find the ‘split backups every’ option. Set this to 50Mb save your settings and run a new process.

Does the backup successfully complete now? I would also suggest you run the backup early morning so you get plenty of resources from your server to backup 1Gb of files.

    Thanks,
    Bryle

    Hi Bryle,

I thought I would let you know the error is actually related to the WP MAIL SMTP plugin.
I created a thread on that plugin which confirms the error is related to their plugin.

Here is the link to the support thread:

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for letting us know here and reaching out to their support.

I hope they are able to fix it. Maybe you could choose different storage for the meantime?

    Regards,
    Bryle
