I keep going back and forth with Facebook and this appears to be a plugin issue. My products are syncing to the Facebook account from the website, but the availability is showing as In Stock with Inventory set to 0. Because of this, my products are no longer visible on Facebook or Instagram. Please help, as these are the most efficient options for acquiring customers.

  • Hey @jbutler97 ,

Thank you very much for reaching out to us! I’ll be happy to help with this!

It’s possible that the stock quantity/inventory if enabled in WooCommerece, is not synced to Facebook when using our plugin. In order to check if that’s the case, would it be possible to navigate to your Catalog Manager, click on a product in the Product Catalog associated with your WooCommerce shop, and then on the “View More Fields” button?

A screenshot of the fields would be super helpful if you can share one with me.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best regards,

    Hey @jbutler97 ,

Thanks for sharing this screenshot with me. It’s really helpful to help me better understand this case.

Taking a step back to your original message, it seems that the main issue here is the inventory not syncing correctly from your WooCommerce store to your Facebook Shop. The Facebook for WooCommerce plugin doesn’t currently sync inventory levels. It’s either an “In Stock” or “Out of Stock” status, I’m afraid.

Facebook will sometimes import a product with a status of “In Stock”, though with zero items in inventory which can cause it to show as “Out of Stock” in your Facebook shop.

Our team is tracking a feature request to include the stock quantity in the sync to address this issue, so I’ve logged your vote for it! I’m afraid that I don’t have any more information as to when (or if) this will be added in the development roadmap, so I’m sorry for not being able to share better news with you on this one.

In the meantime, it may be possible to manually adjust this from the Facebook catalog side by creating a Data Feed Rule in the catalog to change any inventory value set as zero to one.

Do you think that might work for you?

    Best regards,
