Cannot navigate away from wordpress dashboard

  • After installing the WP-Live Chat by 3CX plugin, I cannot navigate away from the WordPress dashboard.

    None of the links on the main WordPress admin dashboard, menu, etc will load. When I click a link (e.g. posts, settings, tools) it simply reloads the dashboard in the window.

    The only way I can load any links is by opening them in a new browser window.

    Once I am on any other admin page, all links from there work fine. The issue only affects the WordPress admin dashboard page.

    If I deactivate the WP-Live Chat plugin the problem goes away.

    The browser console does not report any JS errors.

    I am using Version 8.1.8
