Slideshow in Lightbox speeds up, becomes uncontrollable

Photo Gallery Business (v2.5.58) (with DIVI). No problems (that I knew of) till recently.

Now images change rapidly and the pause button is useless. Starts off as expected but speed increases – makes no difference if the images are set to slide when page launches or require a mouse click.

2 websites use this plugin. Both have the same problem on Mac, Windows, different browsers etc. Repeatable but typically after the browser has been open for 5-10 minutes at least, undisturbed.

I’ll try shutting down the few plugins used this weekend, but if anyone has an answer or suggestion I’d love to hear from you. (Tedious to test because of the wait for the problem to appear.) I have it on video…
