• Hi, I need to direct my users to a password reset page from a link sent in an email from another website. They will already be registered on my site as an API is sent when they register on the external site.

When the users land on my website they need to be able to put their username in and reset the password on the front end. Is there a plugin that does this or do I need to code something?

  • Hi

You can check this plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/frontend-reset-password/

So, you can create a page on your site where you can put the shortcode provided by the above plugin and send the link of that page to the user in the email, which you are sending from another website.

I hope this will help you.

    Kind Regards

Thanks for your reply I have looked at the plugin but it doesn’t quite do what I am looking for. I want the users to click the link in the email sent from the other site and be sent to a page on my site where they can enter their username and reset their password without having to receive another email.

link in the email sent from the other site

yes, if you have access to this link you can set it as your page link where you have reset password form. Right now, where that link is redirecting?
