Good Product But Not Ready For All Websites

Let me say that I really like this plugin. I am looking to replace Ultimate Member on my website and many of the features offered by this plugin were a great fit.
I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to best integrate this plugin with an already existing framework. The team behind this plugin had answers that were readily understandable even with my limited coding knowledge. However, the time difference between the Pacific Coast (where I live) and Europe (where they are located) made for a lag in response time. It was made worse by the limited hours of the team – only Monday through Thursday. So if you need to troubleshoot issues, be prepared for 24 hours between questions and answers. If you send a question in late Thursday, the soonest you will get a response is on Monday morning. Assuming you live where I do!
I ended up returning this plugin for a full refund (easily accomplished with no arguments!). After getting everything to successfully work in one language, I struggled to get it all to work in two languages at the same time. Unfortunately, this is key for my website. Some of the issues are being worked on as we speak but others sounded like they would not be solved any time soon. One of the reasons I am looking for another plugin to replace Ultimate Member is their poor track record with WPML. I couldn’t take the chance on repeating those mistakes with a new plugin. If you are not using WPML and are willing to use this companies own translation software, you may have better results.
Overall, I’m leaving a positive review despite returning the plugin. The team was super professional and the plugin works well for websites not operating bilingually with WPML.
