    Hello,

I proceed to the configuration of W3TC, but I end up with an awesome font, present but without icon! Then above the page, I cannot use the Autoptimize link to, for example, purge the cache, I no longer have access to it.

    Thank you in advance,

    Best regards,

    Claude

    Hello @claudeblet

Thank you for your inquiry and I am happy to assist you with this.
SO I’ve checked your website and it was a confusing experience. At one point you have autoptimize enabled and the cache is being served by LiteSpeed cache. Then, I’ve reloaded the page and I can see that W3 Total cache has generated minified files and you are also using a Stackpath.
Using multiple caching solutions can cause a lot of issues such as you are experiencing at the moment.
SO I suggest you do the following.
Disable and remove all AO files. Disable and remove all Litespeed cache files and folders including the .htaccess rules if exist.
If the Stackpath is configured via W3 Total Cache make sure to disable it and purge the Stackpath Cache. Also, make sure to completely remove and re-install W3 Total Cache and start fresh without any other caching solutions.
    1. Purge Cache
    2. Deactivate and Delete Plugin
    3. Check .htaccess File (make backup)
W3TC will create many directives in the .htaccess file to control the caching behavior. Each section will start and end with comments like “#BEGIN W3TC Page Cache core” and “#END W3TC Page Cache core”.
Ensure that no residual entries are leftover in your .htaccess file after deleting the plugin.
    4. Delete wp-content files and folders
    – cache folder
    – w3tc-config folder
    – object-cache.php (if exists)
    – advanced-cache.php (if exists)
    – dbcache.php (if exists)
    – upgrade folder
    – delete w3-total-cache folder in wp-content/plugins/ (if exists)
    5. Delete Cached Files from CDN (if using CDN)
Besides deleting all the relevant files, if you use CDN then ensure to purge the cached content from your CDN. This is necessary when you enabled the minify option in W3TC settings. You should delete the minified and combined scripts and CSS files from your CDN server to avoid the site breaking on the browser.
    6. Go to your wp dashboard and re-install W3 Total Cache and start with a fresh configuration.
    Thanks!

    Hello,

And thank you for this very relevant information, I did not completely deactivate AO, I completely unchecked two tabs (JS / CSS / HTML and Critical CSS) so as not to duplicate with W3TC and kept AO for my images, the one aptly called Images.

I thus reduced the number of CDNs, notably ShortPixel and kept the paid CDN StackPath.

Thank you again, because except for AO I followed your very detailed instructions and arrived thanks to you, to solve the problem.

    Very cordially,

    Claude
