Buy Buttons Not Loading All The Time

  • Hi everyone,

    Having an issue where the buy buttons (from the [wps_products_buy_button] shortcode) will not completely load when visiting a page. They either show up as just a grey box where the button should be, or it says “Loading products …” forever. Upon refresh, it usually loads them. Anyone else experience this or have any insight on a fix?

    We use the W3 Total Cache plugin and have the Page Cache, Minify, and Database Cache settings enabled, and we are running the Avada theme v6.2.3. The linked page is just one of our product pages that uses the WP Shopify buy buttons.

    Hey there,

    This should be fixed in version 3.0.

    However when I visited your link, I noticed that your site seems to be loading the old plugin JavaScript files from the 2.x version. This usually indicates a caching issue.

    Would you mind clearing all caches and trying again? It might be useful to also whitelist the plugin from getting cached by W3 Total Cache.

    @andrewmrobbins – Thank you for the response. I will try whitelisting the plugin like you mentioned. Unfortunately, when we update to the latest version, none of our pages with WP Shopify shortcodes load correctly, the top WP admin bar isn’t clickable, a lot of hover effects don’t work, and we get multiple Chrome console errors. The site basically becomes unusable. I don’t have them on hand, but if it would help, I can update the plugin again, screenshot, and send them over.

    Do the errors go away if you temporarily deactivate your other plugins?
