Unable to add rules to upload fields

    Hi there – great plugin – full of features!

    I’m using it on a nonprofit organization website, and I need to upload multiple files on a single upload field. I know this is not possible currently, so I tried to use the visibility rules on upload fields, to show the 2nd upload field only when the 1st was used, and so on…

    But the upload fields do not appear on visibility rules so I’m unable to set them and I believe this is not an expected behavior?

    I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

    That’s right, I’m afraid the “multi-upload” field is not there yet and visibility rules can’t be applied to upload fields. Or rather – can’t be based on upload field.

    I asked our developers if we got plans to change that in future and if there is any workaround for now so please keep track of this ticket and I’ll update you here once I got more information on this.

    I just got an update for you and I hope it’s a good news.

    I don’t have an ETA on a release yet but I can confirm already that version 1.13 of the plugin will include a nice fully-functional “multi-upload” option.

    Great news!

    Do you know if visibility rules on upload fields will also be available on a future release?

    And if i may make a suggestion regarding the upload / multiupload, please add an option to show the file size limit and the file size ready to upload, or even calculate it on the fly, this would be great.
    Ex. Size limit 10MB, add a 6MB file, show 4MB available ??

    The Visibility Rules option is available for the Upload Field and there are no plans to remove it.

    And if i may make a suggestion regarding the upload / multiupload, please add an option to show the file size limit and the file size ready to upload, or even calculate it on the fly, this would be great.

    You may add the file size limit manually by simply adding an HTML filed above/below an upload field with a note that specifies the max-file size.
