it seems yoast has recently added over 30k records in wp_terms_taxonomy and wp_terms tables. some seem to be legitimately prominent words, though many are html code and random things which shouldn’t be considered prominent words.

    Hello,

Could you confirm you are using the latest version of WordPress 5.4.2 and Yoast SEO for WordPress 14.4.1? Are you using the free or premium version of Yoast SEO for WordPress?

Also, did you start just noticing this recently with the last update or has it been for a while? Since v14.x and newer, Yoast has been indexing metadata into its own tables with the Indexables feature.

If you have purchased SEO Premium you would need to contact us directly at [email protected] for assistance, as this forum is reserved for support of the free version of Yoast SEO.
