Next/Previous Categories on category archives

  • I have a WP blog that has categories as the primary archive. What I’d like is to have next/previous links that link to and from the other categories. Ideally, the next and previous categories would be determined by alphabetical order of the category name.

    So, if I have three categories, Alpha, Beta, and Epsilon, when I’m on the archive page for the Beta category, I would see links as such:

    << Alpha Category | Current Category (Beta) | Epsilon Category >>

    This would only link between categories and would only be used on the category archive pages (e.g. /category/alpha/ ).

    Any ideas? This is to be used on https://manufacturedfotos.com/

    Each category is a separate photo gallery. And so on the category/gallery pages there would be links to the next/previous galleries. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
