Click on Reset-close icon does not remove the filter

Thank you for the very powerful and well-documented filter.

Question is related to the search bar:
I use Woocommerce and Elementor.
When I press the reset/close icon (small X on the right side of the search bar) the search text is deleted, but the products on the page remain filtered.
How do I get a click on the reset icon to also refresh the results in the archive and show all (unfiltered) products?
