    Hello

I contacted my theme support and asked them if there is a way to add an author description section on the authors archive page. They redirected me to your plugin. The theme that I am using is called “Voice – News Magazine WordPress Theme” I will re-post the question and answer here.
    Q.
Hello I would like to ask if there is a way to add an author description on the authors archive page. I see that I can add information about the author in the authors box however I would like to write more details about the author somewhere else and have it linked from the authors box. Could you advice me as to what are my options.
    A.
Sure. You can install this plugin here, and you’ll be able to add multiple sections to your author profile:
    https://sr.www.ads-software.com/plugins/wpsso/
Theme Forest and WordPress are not allowing to add these kinds of settings to the theme itself. This is deep in the plugin area, so everything really depends on what you’re trying to add really. This plugin here is probably most powerful in that regard. You can also use our Meks Smart Author Widget for your sidebar.
    I hope that helps.
    Best regards,
    Meks team

I had a look at the plug in and tried to find some sort of settings to do this. Please let me know if there is any way of achieving this with your plugin.

    Thank Martin

It sounds like you’re looking for a plugin that shows additional information on the author archive page, but WPSSO Core and its add-ons create meta tags and Schema markup, which are not visible elements – meta tags and Schema markup data is added to webpages for social and search crawlers.

Yes, WPSSO Core provides a Document SSO metabox for all posts, pages, categories, tags, users, etc., but as I said above, the default and custom information found in the Document SSO metabox will be used for meta tags and Schema markup, not for presentation purposes.
