• I am seeing this error on my admin backend:

Oddly, your version of PHP doesn’t allow file_get_contents to use URLs. But even more oddly, your browser doesn’t allow frames! I think it’s time for you to consider leaving 1998 in the past.
    “; ?>

To reply yo this error message, I say

    1) may be if you coded this plugin better I’d not get this message.
    2) You detection method for my browser capabilities is seriously flawed…. FF3.5.5 not support frames where did you get that from?

  • Hi ProDevStudio,
    Sorry just saw this.

That frame is an afterthought…just a way for me to communicate directly with users.

Did you have problems with the core functionality?

I just installed version 1.4 and also see that error.

One problem I am having is that after authenticating it creates the wrong url for the account. E.G.

if username is jsmith and the name is Jason Smith the new account directory is not created as yoursite.com/jsmith/
but instead when you search for the account you see the link to the account directory as yoursite.com/JASON SMITH/

it gets the full name with a space between first and last names.

In 1.3 it was working fine.

Can you give any idea how to solve it?

    Tx

    Just saw this, car777rod.

I’ll look into this…going to push out some kind of update to the plugin tomorrow.

    Thanks.

    Clif

    car777rod,
I can’t find anything I’m doing that could effect this URL.

Are you sure updating the plugin was the only thing that caused this? WordPress changed their user creation function in WP3.0. I think this is a more likely suspect.

    Let me know.

    Thanks,
    Clif
