[Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] Can’t hide “Latest News from Yoast”

When I activate this plugin, I get the “Latest News” widget on the dashboard.

However, this doesn’t contain any content, meaning there is no way to access the X to permanently remove it from the dashboard, so it just sites there forever. I have to manually edit the plugin file and comment out the wp_dashboard_setup action.

Is it possible to add a tickbox option to the options page called “Remove dashboard widget”? I think it makes more sense that all options are together and enables the widget to be removed even when it is empty.
