Hi, I wanted to use a slideshow on this page and when I open using Firefox the slideshow doesn’t appear. It works in Chrome and Microsoft Edge but doesn’t work in Firefox.

    Hi there,

Are you receiving any error messages? Is javascript enabled within Firefox?

As a first step, let’s make sure JavaScript is active. Here are the instructions on checking:

    https://www.whatismybrowser.com/guides/how-to-enable-javascript/firefox

Please follow the instructions and let me know what you find.

    Thanks!

    Hi Darnell,
    Thanks for responding.
There are no error messages, it is just greyed out where the image should appear for the slideshow.
I have checked the settings for Firefox and javascript is enabled.

    Thanks

    Hi Liz,

Please switch to the default WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty). I want to see if this is a conflict with your current theme and the Jetpack Slideshow block.

    Hi Fotis,
I used the live demo as i didn’t want to change the theme. The same thing happened, it worked ok in Chrome but didn’t work in Firefox.
Thanks for your help. I think I will ditch the slideshow idea.

Hi, just wanted to let you know this has been sorted. When I used the slideshow block within the grid block the slideshow didn’t appear in Firefox. So i converted the grid block into columns and it is now working in Firefox.
    Thanks
