• Regardless of the device or browser, users must refresh/reload the page to see the current day’s meeting listings. Too many people do not know enough about browsers to reload the page and we frequently get questions on why they can’t see the current day’s meetings.

(e.g. User visits the page on Sunday for the first time and sees Sunday’s meetings. User visits again on Tuesday and sees Sunday’s meetings. User reloads the page and then sees Tuesday’s meetings.)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hmmm. This behavior doesn’t happen with my dev site.

How did you create your meeting list page? I note the tab says “Archive – ” and I’m curious if you created a custom menu or used the Post Type Archive from the menu create feature?

If that doesn’t make sense, let’s move the discussion to the dev site where we can use screen caps.

We didn’t create it; the plugin did. We did add widget content to the top and bottom of the page. The menu link to it is a “Custom Link” (Meetings wasn’t available when we first implemented TSML years ago or I didn’t see it) and adding it from the Meetings menu options adds it as a “Post Type Archive.”

I just replaced the Custom Link menu item with the Post Type Archive menu item.

Still, we have people who go to the page directly and have to refresh manually. Also, some of them just go back to their mobile browser and expect it to show the current day even though they really only just returned to the browser app instance of the page and it’s the last they were on.

Further, we have a FIND A MEETING button with the URL set to https://nc23.org/meetings/ and it results in the same cached content issue.

    Hi @onemooresam,

Unfortunately, when I can’t reproduce the behavior, it makes it more difficult for me to help other than simply suggesting things for you to try.

How about creating another menu item to a meeting page (use the custom link option) so the meeting page is just that, and nothing else. See if that clears up the problem?

Also, I’m seeing some 404 errors when I look at your site using the Javascript console. Two are related to your theme, and one is TSML & Mapbox GL (which I think can be ignored).
