Download Backup

    I am having trouble downloading backups with a couple of websites that have Website Security activated in their GoDaddy account. I have this plugin, along with the purchased unlimited plugin, installed on a few websites. The GoDaddy websites without Website Security download fine, but the 2 with Website Security give me a Failed – Forbidden error when trying to download. Is there an easy solution for this so that I don’t have to log into the server to download?

    Apologies. I was unaware that this would be related to premium products since it could happen to the free version as well as the paid for version. I will submit a ticket. Thanks.

    Not sure this is same issue, but my new client has 2 WP sites with expired SSL certs and no access to the server. I was able to generate the backup wpress file, but the download failed due to the invalid SSL cert. I simply right-clicked the download button to copy the URL then pasted it in a new tab and changed “https” to “http”. The backup file downloaded fine.
