Image turns blurry problem

  • My problem is that this morning when I logged on to my website as usual, the background image along with some other images have became blurry does anyone know a solution for this?

  • Hi pseudochimp, did you recently modify the images using the built-in WordPress editor? Additionally, did you recently install any plugins that coincided with this change?

    In most image editing software, every time you open a .JPEG file, edit it, and save it again, you are asked how much compression (what quality) you want to save it as. If you open the image several times, edit, then save, every save will be of higher compression (lesser quality) than the last one.
