I am still under construction. What happens is if I do not have “my shop” in product settings, then I get exactly what I want. I developed this with Elementor Pro as a template, then made the page. I made two different pages, one was “shop” and the other is “my shop” I figured that “shop” had a conflict with woocommerce so I made the “my shop” but the same problem occurs. What I should have is the 6 category images and under them, the text, in a separate row of text within the same section. As soon as I update woocommerce with the correct link to “my shop” then I get a different setup, same images but also the category name and number of products right on top of the image. If I could have moved the name and # of products below the image I would have accepted that for now, But I couldn’t figure that out so I redid the page as I wanted it. I also get the names running down the left side instead of underneath each cat image.
Any help or assistance would be appreciated.
Ultimately I want to have a set of primary product categories, selecting one of them would bring you the applicable sub-categories and selecting one of them to the products. I manufacture and sell military plaques and have work on first responders and special projects, all of which would be the primary cats. I do not have that set up yet, I just wanted to get the military section working, then expand at some point in the future.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

Once the shop page is assigned in the WooCommerce settings, the page is then automatically generated. The layout settings of that generated page is available under Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce.

In the event that you’d like to assign the shop page but keep the layout of my-store, it might be worth adding a 301 redirect on the shop page to your my-shop page. This can be done through a 3rd party plugin like https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/eps-301-redirects/

Thank you for the tremendously quick response. The redirect works fine. I had it in my mind that whatever page was in the settings>product was the one that you had to go to.
I am new to this and I find that there is a lot of excellent how to’s but little in how it all ties together. I am into my 3rd month of building my website and I think I am about 90% there. Just annoying things like this and of course writing all the SEO stuff. Again Thank you.
