Import not working in 2.8.6

  • When I go to the Import section and it says “If you have posts or comments in another system, WordPress can import those into this blog. To get started, choose a system to import from below:” there’s nothing below…

    I have the same issue on ALL my 2.8.6 blogs, regardless of how I set my permissions on the server. I tried to be patient, because sometimes WP “self-heals”, but not in this case. Also, reinstalling WP does not help either.

    Any idea where to look?

    WP 2.8.6, Mac Snow Leopard, Browsers: FF, Safari and Chrome

    On the permissions: I did a “chmod -R og+w .”, so all files should have write permissions. Also, I use the Thesis theme, if that makes any difference (although I cannot see why)
