    Hi,
each time checking “statistics” neither in cookie-statement-document nor within cookie-banner by checkbox or accept all doesn’t check “statistics”. Site refreshes, but checkbox remains not checked.
    Using Google Analytics with MonsterInsights.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance
    Koepi

    Hi @koepi,

I see you’re using MonsterInsights. Is the integration in Complianz with MonsterInsights enabled? You can find this under Integrations > Plugins.

Please let me know, so I can reproduce the issue.

    regards Aert

    Hi @koepi,

I tried to reproduce the issue. Could you please check if the integration is enabled and cleared cache?

    Hi Aert,

    Thanks for your reply.
Yes, Integrations > Plugins > MonsterInsights is aktivated.
I recognized, that also when only “Functional” is checked and then click Save-Button, even that minimalistic setting would not be saved. Instaed Banner appears again.

    Hi @koepi,

We have a sandbox to see if we can reproduce the issue; https://statisticsvetgory.sites.qsandbox.com/ (pw:000)

Unfortunately, we can’t. It seems it due to an issue with your installation. Besides the update of Complianz, did you install a new plugin, or theme in the last few weeks?

Please try clearing cache as well.

    regards Aert

    Thanks.
Tested with all plugins off and standard theme. No success.

    Behavior within Banner:
Allow all: Functional and Marketing checked, Statistics unchecked
    Check Marketing and save: okay
Check Statistics and save: checkmark disappears
Check Marketing + Statistics and save: okay, but when refreshing Statistics is unchecked again.
Uncheck Marketing after checking and save: okay

    Behavior within cookie-statement-document:
    Check Marketing: okay
Check Statistics: unchecked again when page refresh
Check Marketing + Statistics: Marketing okay (checked), Statistics unchecked again after page refresh
Uncheck Marketing after checking before: checked again after refreshing (means allowed cookies cannot be switched back to essentials only.

Strange behavior. Is there any issue with js?

    Hi @koepi,

Did this happen after an update, or was this the first time you installed Complianz?

In 4.6.8. were some changes in the default width of the banner, maybe try saving the banner settings.

When that doesn’t work, could you disable all integrations and try again?

If that doesn’t work, disable the cookie blocker under settings, and then…

Try resetting your settings under settings and start over (sorry!).

I hope you can let me know what worked, so we have an idea where this originated.

    regards Aert

Hello, I am facing the same issue with latest update:

    Behavior within Banner:
Allow all: Functional and Marketing checked, Statistics unchecked

Cookie banner does not hide and strangly consent is given and statistics checkbox stays uniticked.

This issue started appearing after latest update of complianz. Have not added any other plugins.

This is definitly some sort of bug. It is not a compatibility issue with the theme I am using or plugins I am using since this issue started appearing after I updated Complianz without updating WordPress.

Could you please look at this?
    Thank you

Hi @pickme Apologies for the delayed response. We’d like to treat this as a separate ticket. Could you share the URL of your site in a new thread or via support(at)complianz.io?

We’re happy to have a look and help you out!

    Kind regards,

I’ll try that within the next days. Or maybe meanwhile there will be a solution.
Looks like I’m not the only one with that strange issues…

We finally found an environment where we could reproduce the issue, which enabled us to create a fix.

We will release this tomorrow, if you want you can test it from git, would be great if you can confirm this resolves the issue.

    https://github.com/Really-Simple-Plugins/complianz-gdpr/tree/fix-cookie-domain-verification

    Leon, Aert and Rogier,

Thank you for the good news!

I am happy this issue is solved.

I will install it from git now and let you know on another development environment.

Tomorrow that you will release the update with the fix, I will install the update on another development environment and let you know if the issue is indeed solved.

    Regards!

    Leon, Aert and Rogier,

I installed Complainz from git. ‘Statistics’ checkbox gets ticked and cookie banner gets hidden upon ‘accept all’ button click.

    The bug looks fixed.
