    Hello everyone,
I manage a store that sells products to multiple countries in different languages.
I would like to know if it is possible to sync products with multiple currencies (using the plugin Woocommerce Price Based on Country) to Facebook Catalog (it currently uploads only the main currency). For what I have researched, it is possible by uploading another data list with an “override” column that tells which data is replaced according to each language and country. https://www.facebook.com/business/help/2144286692311411?id=725943027795860

However, I would like to know if it possible to automatically do that with the official Facebook Plugin. Thank you very much for your support.

  • Hi @javiergaeten1,

Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help you with this!

After taking a quick look at the article you linked (thank you!), it sounds like this would need to be done by connecting 2 data source feeds to one product catalog. At this time, our plugin only supports generating a single product feed for your store.

I’d be happy to log a feature request for this on your behalf! Would you please tell me a little bit more about how this would benefit your business so I can share this with our product team?

    Thanks!

Hello @skyverge thank you for your response.
My business has customers from all over the world and my website displays prices in many currencies based on the customer’s country. My intention is to reach to new customers from all over the world with Facebook Ads campaigns linked to my catalog. However, because my Facebook catalog is currently only in USD (my store’s main currency is USD and is the only currency being synced with Facebook), I cannot make dynamic ads using my catalog for countries that do not have USD as the main currency (which is like 95% of my current customers). It would be confusing, for example, to make a campaign with dynamic content based on my catalog in USD in Chile (which also uses the $ symbol and would confuse people that see the ad because prices do not match with the real chilean currency).

Thank you very much, it would help me a lot if you add the feature to sync prices in multiple currencies!

    Hey @javiergaeten1,

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide those additional details. I agree that it would be great to be able to support multiple currencies!

I have logged a request for this idea! I can’t say when (or if) this will make it onto our development roadmap, so I’d recommend keeping an eye on the changelog and our email newsletter for regular development updates.

I’m sorry I don’t have better news for you here! Is there anything else I can help out with?

    Thanks,

    Marcus
