There is a strange code that keeps appearing beneath the button when I preview the website in the browser. The code says [/expander_maker”class=””>

I need to know how I can remove the code that appears beneath the button when I preview it or at least make it white so that it does not show at all on the white background.

I am using materialis pro as the theme and in the customizer I placed a shortcode to a form inside the readmore shortcode, as shown below:
    [expander_maker id=”1″ more=”Read more” less=”Read less”][site_reviews_form][/expander_maker]

The website is currently still in maintenance mode because I can’t reveal it to the general public until this problem is fixed.

    Hi @mregesi93,

Thank you for connecting with us.
Could you please share a URL with an issue?

Sure, Thanks for reaching out. I don’t really have a URL because the page that is having the problem is a duplicate page that I am using to test the new functionality. A screenshot might be more helpful if that is possible.

But the website is https://www.financialfutures1st.com. At the bottom in the review section, there is sometimes a code that appears beneath the button that says [/expander_maker”class=””>

I have been trying to find out what is causing it or how I can remove it permanently. I was able to remove it by recreating the button in the Materialis pro customizer using a different CTA section format but it could still appear again in the future.

The button is created with a shortcode that opens up another shortcode that displays a form. Sometimes the button has even become inactive and it once caused other sections below it to disappear.

    Thank you.

    Dear @mregesi93,

I think there is an issue related to the invalid sort code.
Our plugin shortcode need to have this look like

    [expander_maker id="1" more="Read more" less="Read less"]Read more hidden text[/expander_maker]

I think it’s you saved inside other plugin settings. Please go to that plugin settings and find that text.

I don’t get much flexibility to make changes to the settings. I only receive a shortcode which I place on the site along with the shortcode of the form I want people to fill. Below is the shortcode as I have it written:
    [expander_maker id=”1″ more=”Read more” less=”Read less”] [site_reviews_form] [/expander_maker]

It either shows up with a strange code beneath the button saying [/expander_maker”class=””> or it shows up without the code but people can’t fill the form because the text is white on a white background and they can’t see what they’re typing.

    Dear @mregesi93,

Have you ever try to write some text instead of [site_reviews_form]?
Please temporarily remove that shortcode and write there something and check that thing.

Please let me know about your progress.

Thanks for your response and help.
I cant write anything else because there has to be a form that shows up for people to give reviews. That is the shortcode for the form.

I was able to remove the problem by using a different section design in the theme customizer. But the problem could still show up again in the future so I am concerned.

The website is now live. It is https://www.financialfutures1st.com
