Disappearing Categories and hierarchy

    In addition I wanted to add that none of the top parents are showing up plus some of the sub categories. Not in the drop downs. Not in the edit post page. The categories page list comes up empty but it shows pagination like there are hundreds of categories I can get to but all the pages results are empty.

    HELP!!!!!

    Kallyone, did you do an XML import or an upgrade of WP or installed a new plugin or what?
    Or did it change out of nowhere?
    Can you give a link to your site?
