My site was up and running 3 months ago, everything seemed to be fine. But about 10 days ago I started to receive the Jetpack report which showed “Your site appears to be down”, this has been continued everyday now. In average my site is down for at least 10 minutes everyday.

When I loaded my web pages I also saw 500 or 404 error messages from time to time. My site is hosted by Bluehost.

How can I fix the problem? I appreciate your help.

    Thanks.

Your site opened fine for me , in fact pretty fast!

You may want to check and discuss with your hosting provider in case they having problem with their server.

    Thank you @t-p!

Yes most of the time my site is okay, but the issue persists. For example, my site showed the following message 5 minutes ago when I visited it:

    “Proxy Error
The proxy server could not handle the request
Reason: Error during SSL Handshake with remote server
Additionally, a 500 Internet Server Error error was encountered with trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request”

I contacted Bluehost but the agent said my site is okay. Is there anything I can do?

    Best,

    Jason
