Is it possible to have cart stock reducer only on certain product categories?

  • I have 1 product category of my website that needs this functionality. Is it possible to have the stock reduce when added to cart on this one category?

    There are a few ways to go about it and it is going to depend on your setup and skill level.

    If only the one category is managed stock then only that category is handled.

    You could set the ‘csr_expire_time’ post meta on the specific products to set an actual expiration time and set the default to ‘never’

    There are some WordPress filters you can use in code to modify the default behavior.
