• Hello.

    The site is https://www.brownfedora.com/haiblog/

I’ve edited the CSS and index.php to move the menu to a horizontal dropdown style menu.

This works fine, except for the Calendar. Hyperlinked days within the calendar ignore my width statement. They s t r e t c h out the link/cell. Interestingly, when you hover, it snugs things right back up again.

I’m at a loss as to why!

    Any clues? Thanks in advance!

  • It might be that the calendar isn’t big enough to fit in the box. Try making the box bigger or padding etc. smaller until it fits.

Thanks for the reply. I made the height and width of the “li” outrageously big, but it didn’t solve the problem.

If I take the php calendar call out of the list, and place it, for example, in it’s own div somewhere else, the calendar table looks fine.

It’s only when it’s in the menu list that I have the problem.

So it has to be some interaction between the styles for the menu and for the table.

I’ve looked and looked, but just can’t unravel it.
