I’ve tried inserting ads using the plugin. Everything seems to work fine but is there a way to get ad links t open in a separate tab?

    Hi lezv,

    Thanks for reaching out.

If you enable the Tracking Ads add-on, you can find a checkbox to open the ad in a new window in a new window in the ad parameters section. This is relevant for the image ad type.

If using the basic version of Advanced Ads, I recommend switching to the plain text and code ad type and adding the target=”_blank” manually.

    Best regards,
    Joachim

    Hi lezv,

I’m going to correct my last answer.

With the Tracking Ads add-on comes the function to add the “nofollow” attribute automatically.

You can open image ads with the basic plugin in a new window. For other ad types, you have to add it manually, as described above.

Sorry for the confusion and best regards,
    Joachim
