After Upgradation, Blog redirects to the www.ads-software.com

  • I just upgraded my site https://www.forexnode.com to the wordpress version 2.9
    First I tried to upgrade it thorough the control panel but it didnt work.
    So I upgraded manually by replacing the old files with the new ones.

    Now blog is not working correctly.
    for example:
    when ever I try to access the main page https://www.forexnode.com and forexnode.com
    it redirects to the www.ads-software.com ??

    but when i try to reach a sub page like https://www.forexnode.com/brokers/
    it works normally.
    I am able to access the wp-admin
    and have disabled all the redirection plugins like www. preference.

    Kindly provide your support as soon as possible.

    i have just tried switching the theme back to default theme …
    and it didn’t worked …

    I have confirmed that this problem is only with the front page …
    all other pages are resolving fine …
    but front page always keep showing www.ads-software.com ???

    Try resetting permalinks and chech your .htaccess for other redirects.

    Sure you got all the wordpress files in the right places? Try replacing your root index.php with a fresh copy from a new download of the wordpress zip file, and the next step would be replace all wordpress files with fresh copiues.
