-
Hi, how are you?
Currently I use another plugin that AMP has the end / amp /.
I would like to implement your plugin, but the end of it is ?amp. How can I do this redirection? Thanks.

@maniackbr If you’d like to share your site URL or preferably your Site Health information here or privately we can investigate your current setup.
You’ll find a discussion on the query vars in use below:
https://github.com/ampproject/amp-wp/issues/2204Hi James, my website is; https://br.nacaodamusica.com/
I use other plugin, and I would like to migrate to your plugin, but without losing positions the current SEO and hits.
Currently my URL displays the ending /amp/.
Yours is ?amp. I would like a redirect that would not cause any problems, in order to use your plugin. Can you help me?Ex; https://br.nacaodamusica.com/especiais/lives/ego-kill-talent-live-25-de-julho/amp/

@maniackbr After activating the plugin in
transitional
mode, which I believe your theme supports via it’s own AMP templates, you’ll notice all regular (canonical) URLs will have an<link rel="amphtml"...
reference. You can then use the URL inspection tool within Search Console so all your new amphtml links are updated to reflect the new URLs.
When switching I suspect all URLs ending in
/amp
should also resolve to the?amp
query var anyway, you shouldn’t encounter any broken links.Here we have two problem;
First; When I activate the plugin, it does not appear in the right corner of the wp-admin the AMP options, just like it normally would. I believe that this is due to the theme that I have. I’m not sure.
2; I just tried to enable and let Search Console overlay the links, but I lose immediate visibility that way. It is not possible to generate some code to redirect from /amp/ to ?amp ? Is this because I can’t access your plugin options, and change to ‘transitional mood’?
Thanks!

After activation you should see the AMP options in the standard dashboard menu. If you’re unable to view the settings you can follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue being theme or plugin related:
- Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
- Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”. (This will temporarily deactivate other plugins and switch to a default theme – for you only, as a logged in user).
- From the the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “AMP”
- Check whether you’re able to access the AMP menu.
You can exit troubleshooting mode afterwards.
If you’re able to view the settings you may need to contact TagDiv support, or check your other active plugins.
Hi @jamesosborne , how are you?
When i enable this slug on my AMP “?amp”, the google report one error for me:

Maybe i can solved all that, now i need to wait 24h to see the google reports again.
Anyway, thank you soo much for help me! You really help me.
Stay safe, and thank you again.
@maniackbr No problem. Rather than waiting for Search Console to update you on the status of any AMP URLs you can use the plugins validation tool. You may also find the AMP Validator Chrome extension useful, which can direct you to the online validator.
Let me know how you get on anyway.
Hi James, how are you today?
The error persists and actually increased the number of pages with the same problem.

Is it possible to activate / amp / using your plugin?
Thanks@maniackbr Can you share a specific URL which Search Console is reporting as not a valid AMP URL and I can check from my side.
Please also perform a check on the matching non AMP URL using the URL Inspection Tool from within Search Console and share the outcome.
Of course!

https://br.nacaodamusica.com/posts/jay-z-sera-homenageado-grammy/?ampThanks for the update. After checking I can confirm all those URLs are all valid, with no validation errors.
If you find Search Console is reporting non AMP valid URLs after you perform an update using the URL Inspection Tool you can check with the product experts using the Search Console Help Center.
I understand. But can you tell me, why is the number blocked from errors like that? Until yesterday there were 127, now there are 162 URL’s pointed out with errors.
Is not possible enable this slug? /amp/ on the end URL?
