One of the sites that I assist with just recently started getting “There has been a critical error on your website”.

This seemed to be related to WF as when disbaled it did not occur. I did find some posts also identifiying WF and suggesting to uninstall, clean and reinstall. I have done that and I do not seem to be getting the above error.

However on the checkout page we are using the WooCommerce Australia Post Shipping extension which looks up the postage cost. When WF is active the cart cannot ontain a postage quote and is just stuck spinning. When WF is disabled a delivery cost is returned.

Can anyone suggest how we can stop this function from being blocked?

  • Have you tried putting the firewall into learning mode and then obtaining a postage quote? Make sure and try from a browser that isn’t logged in since this is something I think the customer/visitor will do, right? If it works, then do it a few more times. Then set the firewall back to enabled and protecting and try to obtain a postage quote from a browser that isn’t logged in again. This should have whitelisted the action. Either way, let me know.
